Group Classes- Hatha Movement
Hatha Movement classes that focus not only on Yoga asana but will also instruct you in meditative practices and breath work (pranayama) bringing a wonderful calmness to the mind and reconnection between the breath and the body. We work on breaking down postures and building confidence in our bodies. Classes are suitable for all abilities as postures are adapted to suit you.
A wonderful slow-paced style of yoga where postures are held for longer periods of time. In our Yin classes we tend to hold poses for between 3 – 5 minutes and students find their own edge to find a gradual release through the target areas of the posture.
Yin yoga targets the deeper connective tissues—the tendons, fascia, and ligaments, and the meridian or energy lines thus allowing Chi or energy to flow freely throughout the body. A more meditative approach to yoga, Yin aims at cultivating awareness of inner silence, and bringing to light a universal, interconnecting quality to the mind and body.
Take a little time for yourself. Develop your practice and explore postures in your own time by treating yourself to a one to one class. Classes last around 90 mins and we will work together on building your own personal practice. I have a small studio based in beautiful Wolverley Village or alternately I can come to you!
Private Sessions are £40 for 1 hour and 15 minutes!
